Pocatello Fire Department Report for Friday July 22, 2016 
The department responded to 26 calls for service yesterday including calls for emergency medical service, a grass fire, vehicle fire, fuel or oil spill, fire alarm activation's, unauthorized burn, and motor vehicle accidents.

Safety Tip:
Practice heat safety wherever you are. Heat related deaths are preventable. Protect yourself and others from impacts of heat waves.
Job Sites:
Stay hydrated and take breaks in the shade as often as possible.
Indoors:
Check up on the elderly, sick and those without air conditioning.
Vehicles:
Never leave kids or animals unattended in a vehicle. Always look before you lock the doors.
Outdoors:
Limit strenuous outdoor activities, find shade, use sunscreen and other protective clothing, and stay hydrated.
If you or someone you know shows signs of heat exhaustion or heat stroke seek immediate medical help.
