Deputies were dispatched by E-911 to a call of Burglary in Progress of a residence on Vales Mill Road this afternoon. Upon arrival deputies were told by witnesses a woman had been trying to break into the residence and then ran off into the woods. Deputies located the woman near the scene and arrested her. She was identified as Amy Hennessee Moore age 37 of Prospect, Tennessee. She was taken to the Giles County Jail and charged with Criminal Attempt Aggravated Burglary and bail was set at $3,500.
