#SandFire update – possible threat to Sand Canyon community this afternoon, but NO evacuations at this time.
#SandFire update –
There is a possible threat to the Sand Canyon community. Conditions are being monitored closely.
Weather forecast predicts afternoon winds will be out of the Southwest. At that time, the Sand Canyon community may be in potential threat of fire moving toward the canyon.
Residents will be notified if the threat becomes real and if evacuations become necessary.
Wayside Jack Bones Equestrian Center is receiving large animals, along with Hansen Dam in Sylmar.
AT THIS TIME, there are no evacuation orders for the Sand Canyon community.
