Troopers are reporting a construction zone and lane restriction on I-70 WB, in Wayne County, is causing a 4-5 mile traffic back up. Workers are pouring concrete in the passing lane of I-70 WB from the 145 mm, Centerville Rd. exit, to the 144 mm rest area. 

Traffic headed west to the Brick Yard Race, from Ohio, should seek alternate routes around the area, such as SR 38, or US 40, to SR 1 back to I-70. The passing lane construction will cause the lane to remain closed on WB I-70, from the 145 mm to the 144 mm, for the weekend. Motorists can expect slow to stopped traffic in the area.
