A large march is scheduled to pass through the city starting at noon today. It will begin on Jersey Avenue near Handy Street and affect parts of French Street, Suydam Street, Railroad Avenue and New Street, including the New Street crossing at Route 18 northbound.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes at this time. Please follow police instructions if traveling in the area.
The march is being held as part of "Guelagetza," a cultural festival taking place today at Boyd Park until 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public as part of the Hub City Sounds summer concert series.
