On Saturday, July 23, 2016, Sheriff’s Special Victims Bureau personnel through the use of investigative resources and tips received from the public, identified and arrested Richard Camarena for child molestation.  Richard Camarena a 45 year-old, male, Hispanic, 5’11”, 190 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes was arrested at approximately 8:30 p.m. at a residence in the city of Claremont.  The Suspect was transported and booked, for lewd acts with a child, at San Dimas Station.  His bail is set at $100,000.00 and his next court date is Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Pomona Municipal Court. 

On Friday, July 8, 2016, the suspect was at the Puente Hills Mall, 1600 South Azusa Avenue, City of Industry, when he entered a bathroom and inappropriately touched a child.
