On Friday, July 31^st, Third Precinct Police Officers, including Cope Officers Peter Rivera and John Wright, along with CLO Eiffel Ramirez, hit the streets of the Third Precinct community to promote pedestrian and bicycle safety along many of the high crash locations in the community.  The officers handed out safety vests, as well as literature, urging the community to be more mindful and cautious.  The main focus was to have the public use crosswalks, obey signals, and pay attention; don’t text while crossing!  The outing was a success for all involved.
