ROAD CLOSURE
Rockton Avenue – Elmwood Rd. to Marsh / Haight School
Effective today, Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 7:00 AM, the City of Rockford Street Division will be closing N. Rockton Ave. between Elmwood Rd. and the Marsh/Haight School south driveway for tree removal operations. The closure will be effective during the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM and work is expected to take two (2) to three (3) days. Detour routes will be posted accordingly. Local traffic will be allowed from Riverside Dr. north to the school property however traffic will not be allowed to enter the work zone at Elmwood and N. Rockton Ave.
The City of Rockford Forestry Division appreciates your cooperation during this time and will work to reopen the roadway as expeditiously as possible.
