Arrest: 59 year old male, resident of New Almaden
Charges: Outstanding warrant
Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle. Upon contact, it was determined that the occupant had an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

600-blk University
Officers responded to a commercial burglary. Unknown suspects made entry by smashing a glass door.
7/27/2016 1441 hours
16700-blk Farley
Officers responded to a prowler call during which the reporting party observed suspicious subjects in her backyard. One subject was located at a nearby business. A second suspect ran from officers. A thorough search was conducted, but he was not located. Approximately 2 hours later, officers confirmed that a residential burglary had indeed occurred in the same area. Detectives continue to conduct follow-up.

Arrest: 24 year old female, resident of Oakley
Charges: Possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and determined the passenger of the vehicle to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. She was cited and released.

Arrest: 29 year old female, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: Possession of narcotic substance
Officers conducting routine patrol encountered a suspicious vehicle and determined that the male occupant was in possession of methamphetamine, heroin, and needles. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Arrest: 26 year old female, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: Possession of narcotic substance
Officers conducting routine patrol located a suspicious vehicle with a sleeping occupant. It was later determined that she had fallen asleep after using heroin. She was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

200-blk Winchester
Officers responded to a reported fraud. The victim conducted a transaction online and agreed to accept a check and pay another party via wire. The check bounced, leaving the victim with a loss.
7/31/2016 1450 hours
2500-blk Samaritan Dr
Arrest: 30 year old male, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: DUI, possession of open container
Officers attempted to conduct a traffic enforcement stop when the suspect vehicle took evasive action, fleeing at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was immediately located in the company of San Jose Police. It was determined that the suspect made a few quick turns into a medical complex, where a San Jose Police Sergeant was sitting in his vehicle. The SJPD Sergeant watched the suspect exit the vehicle and throw his keys over a fence, and was in the process of contacting the driver when LGMSPD turned the corner. The driver was arrested and transported to Main Jail.
