Ongoing Investigation Leads to Felony Warrant Arrest
New Castle – On 6/16/16 members of the Pendleton District Meth Suppression Team served search warrants on a home and garage at 1311 So. 19th St. in New Castle. As a result of those warrants Joseph Ellis was arrested at the home charged with Possession of Heroin. A meth lab was also located in the garage at the home.
An ongoing investigation by the Meth Suppression Team, into that meth lab, led to a felony warrant being issued for Corey Campbell, age 33. Today around 3:30 p.m. Meth Team members located Campbell at a home at 2411 Indiana Avenue, here in New Castle. Campbell was arrested on a warrant for Dealing Methamphetamine, Level 5 Felony.
Campbell was lodged in the Henry County Jail. The Meth Suppression Team was assisted in their investigation by the Henry County Prosecutor’s Office, the Henry County Drug Task Force and the New Castle Police Department.
