According to Sheriff Rick Walter a husband and wife have been arrested and charged in connections with narcotics possession.
Travas Chiles 41 of Chaffee has been charged with the class C felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance and the class A misdemeanor of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond set at 10,000
Melissa Chiles 38 of Chaffee has been charged with the class C felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance and the class A misdemeanor of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Walter said detectives received information Monday that methamphetamine was being used and distributed at a home on West Davidson Street in Chaffee on Monday. Investigating detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence which was subsequently served Tuesday afternoon. During the search, methamphetamine and marijuana were located, along with an assortment of drug paraphernalia.
Walter said the investigation continues with the possibility of additional arrests.
Both have been released on bond to appear in court 08/31/2016.
