On Wednesday August 10, 2016 at about 5:20 PM Anderson Officers were dispatched to a suspicious subjects call at the Anderson Factory Outlets. It was reported that two white males were seen looking into cars, and going into stores. One witness told officers that the two suspicious males were associated with a white GMC Terrain SUV and had gone into a store called Fusion Pit. One officer ran the license plate on the SUV and Shascom advised that it was a stolen vehicle.

The Officers waited in the parking lot, until the two males approached the SUV. The two males were both detained. One was in possession of the keys to the stolen GMC. They were both wearing or in possession of shoes that were stolen from various stores at the Factory Outlets.

During an inventory search of the vehicle officers located a stolen generator, stolen tools, illegal narcotics, narcotic smoking paraphernalia and an assortment of cut hoses and fuel canisters.

Both suspects are already on probation for theft related crimes.

20 year old Terry Lee Crosley from southern California and 26 year old Neal Roose of Sacramento were both arrested. Crosley will be charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, probation violation and other theft related crimes. Roose will be charged with theft, probation violation and various drug and paraphernalia crimes. Both thieves were booked into Shasta County Jail.

The vehicle was released to its rightful owner. The other stolen property that was recovered from the criminals was taken into safekeeping to be returned to its rightful owners at a later time.
