ATTENTION BEACH CLOSURE AT VAN BUREN PARK

The Beach at Van Buren Park is CLOSED due to high E-coli levels until the testing results show that it can be re-opened.
Results from recent water sampling have just been e-mailed to the parks and recreation department within the hour indicating the need to CLOSE the beach.
This closure means that no one is to enter the swimming area nor should they access the beach neither from land or water.
Once we receive data which indicates that the beach can re-open, we will post the announcement.
