Deadline is fast approaching to sign up to attend SPD's Citizens' Academy this September and October. 
The Sebastopol Police Department's fourth annual Citizens' Police Academy will be held on Thursday nights from 6:30pm to 8:45pm this September and October.
Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes view of the Criminal Justice Center, meeting with the Sonoma County District Attorney, Public Defender, Sheriff, Chief Probation Officer, as well as the CHP area commander, a superior court judge, a Fish and Wildlife agent, and many representatives from the Sebastopol Police Department.
Attendees will visit the Family Justice Center, the Santa Rosa Junior College Public Safety Training Center, and the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office and the Sonoma County Jail.
