Novato firefighters deployed to the Clayton Fire in Lake County. 
Novato Fire has dispatched Engine 665 with four firefighters to the Clayton Fire near South Lake in Lake County. The Clayton Fire started yesterday and has burned more than 1,400 acres and is threatening many homes. Novato firefighters will be assigned to defend homes from the approaching fire.

All Novato fire stations remain fully staffed during this type of deployment and all costs associated with the deployment are reimbursed by the State and Federal government.
