The Rocky River Police Department is releasing information about recent suspicious activity in the city on Gasser Blvd.
Flyers have been distributed requesting money from residents to paint their house numbers on the curb, which is against the law. The flyers contain no business or contact information, which is often an indication that the business is not legitimate. Never leave money for unknown persons or allow them into your home. The flyers indicated that the subjects would be in the area tomorrow, August 15th. Past experiences with persons conducting such activity has led to arrests due to outstanding warrants and possession of drugs.
