Fraudulent Sweepstakes calls are being received in the Carthage area. 
Citizens are receiving fraudulent sweepstakes calls where the caller is informing the citizen that they have won a large some of money or other prize(s). During the calls the caller is advising the citizen that in order to claim their confirmed prize they must first wire money to them to pay for administrative or similar fees. Be aware of these types of fraudulent activity.
