07/22/16 WTPD arrested Joshua Kleedorfer, age 34, of Wilkes Barre, PA for a $79.00 outstanding warrant out of Warren Township. On 07/22/16 at approximately 8:28 PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 31 S. in Washington Township. At that time the driver, Mr. Kleedorfer, was found to have the outstanding warrant. He was processed, issued a motor vehicle summons for obstructing traffic, and released after posting bail.

07/22/16 WTPD arrested Jeremy Vandervelde, age 29, of Washington, NJ for possession of (CDS) marijuana less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. On 07/22/16 at approximately 12:59 AM, officers responded to a noise complaint in the 20 block of New Bold Ct. in Washington Township. Upon patrols’ arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Vandervelde was charged with possession of (CDS) less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

07/23/16 WTPD arrested Jennifer Lammond, age 42, of Belvidere, NJ for a $300.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Township. Ms. Lammond was processed and released after posting bail.
07/26/16 WTPD arrested Cathy Hale, age 43, of Washington, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warranty out of Washington Township. On 07/26/16 at approximately 8:47 PM, patrol responded to the Hickory Hill Motel, 276 Rte. 31 N. in Washington Township for an unwanted person. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, it was revealed that Ms. Hale had an outstanding warrant. She was processed and lodged in the WC Jail.

07/27/16 WTPD arrested Anthony Montana, age 37, of Belvidere, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Township. Mr. Montana was processed and released with a new court date.

07/29/16 WTPD arrested Timothy Stepp, age 51, of Easton, PA for burglary and theft charges stemming from a June 30, 2016 incident. On 07/29/16 at approximately 11:37 AM, patrol observed Mr. Stepp, who was known to have outstanding burglary and theft charges, at Quick Chek, 30 Belvidere Ave in Washington, NJ.The officer made contact with Mr. Stepp, who was taken into custody without incident. Mr. Stepp was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $2500.00 bail.

07/29/16 WTPD arrested Michael Maratta, age 20, of Hampton, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Township. Mr. Maratta was processed and lodged in the WC Jail.

07/29/16 WTPD arrested Daniel Pedersen, age 29, of Washington, NJ for a $473.00 outstanding warrant out of Hackettstown. On 07/29/16 at approximately 2:58 PM Mr. Pedersen responded to WTPD headquarters on an unrelated matter. At this time, the outstanding warrant was discovered. Mr. Pedersen was processed and released after posting bail.

07/31/16 WTPD arrested Heather Sherman, age 23, of Washington, NJ for a $1000.00 outstanding warranty out of NJSP (Perryville Barracks). On 07/31/16 at approximately 1:15 PM, patrol responded to a residence in the 20 block of New Bold Ct. in Washington Township for an unwanted person. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, it was revealed that Ms. Sherman had an outstanding warrant and was in possession of a hypodermic needle. She was processed, charged with possession of a hypodermic needle and turned over to NJSP.

08/03/16 WTPD arrested Jeffrey Trimmer, age 49, of Washington, NJ for simple assault. Mr. Trimmer was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $500.00 bail.

08/04/16 WTPD arrested Antoinette Taylor, age 40, of Washington, NJ for an $89.00 outstanding warrant out of Deptford Township. Ms. Taylor was processed and released after posting bail.

08/04/16 WTPD arrested Steven Snook, age 22, of Washington, NJ for outstanding warrants totaling $1339.00 out of Hackettstown and Newark. On 08/04/16 at approximately 9:04 PM, patrol responded to a report of an erratic motor vehicle at the Quick Chek, 350 Rte. 57 W. in Washington Township. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Snook had outstanding warrants. Mr. Snook was processed, issued a motor vehicle summons for child restraints and released with new courts dates.

08/05/16 WTPD arrested Michael Cedola, age 53, of Washington, NJ for simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. Mr. Cedola was processed and released after posting bail.

08/06/16 WTPD arrested Sean McLaughlin, age 26, of Washington, NJ for burglary, defiant trespass, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 08/06/16 at approximately 7:13 AM, patrol responded to Messina Wildlife, 55 Willow Street in Washington Borough, for an activated burglar alarm. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, it was discovered that Mr. McLaughlin had forced entry into the building and was still inside. Mr. McLaughlin was taken into custody by WTPD with the assistance of officers from NJSP, Mansfield Township PD and Phillipsburg PD K-9. Mr. McLaughlin was processed and charged with burglary, defiant trespass, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance and lodged n the WC Jail in lieu of $1500.00 bail.

08/10/16 WTPD arrested Ricky Trimmer, age 40, of Washington, NJ for a $750.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. Mr. Trimmer was processed and released after posting bail.

08/12/16 WTPD arrested Dereck Kerekes, age 34, of Washington, NJ for a $70.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. Mr. Kerekes was processed and released with a new court date.

08/12/16 WTPD arrested Gualdo Hidalgo, age 64, of Washington, NJ for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 08/12/16 at approximately 6:11 PM, patrol responded to the 70 block of W. Stewart St. in Washington Borough for the report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Hildalgo was issued a summons for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

08/12/16 WTPD arrested William Martinez, age 56, of Union, NJ for stalking, violation of a court order and harassment. Mr. Martinez was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $30,000.00 bail.

08/13/16 WTPD arrested Daniel Lunden, age 24, of Hackettstown, NJ for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 08/13/16 at approximately 2:44 AM, patrol responded to Rte. 31 N. in Washington Township for the report of a man darting out into traffic. Upon patrol’s arrival and subsequent investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Lunden was walking in the lane of travel and creating a traffic hazard. Mr. Lunden was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

08/13/16 WTPD arrested Charles Pickett, age 25, of Washington, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. Mr. Pickett was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of bail.

08/15/16 WTPD arrested Richard Smith 3rd , age 37, of Washington, NJ for being an NCIC fugitive from justice from the Warren County Superior Court. On 08/15/16 at approximately 1:40 PM Mr. Smith responded to WTPD headquarters on an unrelated matter. At this time, the outstanding warrant was discovered. Mr. Smith was processed and lodged in the WC Jail.
