Please contact the police if you recieve phone calls regarding Ottawa Fire Department fund raising, as it is a scam. 
The Ottawa Police Department has recieved information from Ottawa Fire Chief Dan Rieman that residents are currently receiving fund raising phone calls for the fire department. Chief Rieman sai that the Ottawa Fire Department is not raising funds at this time. It is a scam and residence that do relieve such phone calls are encouraged to contact the police department. 419-523-3449/419-523-3208.
