There will be various road closures in downtown Akron Aug. 20th from approx. 3 am until midnight for Slide the City 
Saturday, August 20, 2016, beginning at approximately 3:30 a.m., road closures will begin for the Slide the City Akron event. The below listed road closures will be in effect until approximately midnight Saturday:
S. Main St. will be closed from E. State St. to E. Bowery St.
University Ave. will be closed from Wolf Ledges Parkway to S. Main St.
S. High St. will be closed from E. Bowery St. to E. State St.
S. Broadway will be closed from E. State St. to E. Bowery St.
E. State St. will be closed for eastbound traffic from S. High St. to S. Broadway.
