THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HOUSTON/GALVESTON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR A PORTION OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS...INCLUDING
THE FOLLOWING AUSTIN...BRAZOS...BURLESON...COLORADO...
MADISON ...AND WASHINGTON.

* FROM 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING

* RAINFALL OF 1 TO 3 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.
IF EXPECTED HEAVIER RAINFALL OVER THE HILL COUNTRY SHIFTS
EASTWARD, AMOUNTS WILL BE HIGHER.

* BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS ALONG CREEKS...BAYOUS...RIVERS...AND LOW-
WATER CROSSINGS. ALREADY WET GROUND FROM RAIN THAT FELL EARLIER
THIS WEEK MAY LEAD TO QUICK RISES IN WATER LEVELS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
