Roseland Board of Education
It is with great pleasure and excitement that we share the anticipated Board appointment of our new Noecker Superintendent, Ms. Deanne Somers. Please join us at our next Board meeting, this Wednesday, August 24th to informally meet and welcome Ms. Somers to the Noecker Community. As always, the Board meeting will take place in the Media Center and will begin at 7:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there.

Board of Health
The East Hanover and Roseland Board of Health Departments will be sponsoring a new Health EASE “Move Today” exercise class beginning Wednesday, September 28, 2016. The classes will take place from 1-2 pm. in the Tom Rinaldi Recreation Center, 5th Street, Lurker Park, East Hanover. Please call the East Hanover Board of Health at 973-428-3035 to register and to obtain the necessary release forms.

The East Hanover and Roseland Board of Health will also be offering PROJECT HEALTHY BONES, a 24 week osteoporosis exercise and education program for older woman and men at risk for, or how have, osteoporosis. The information session will take place at the Tom Rinaldi Recreation Building, 5th Street, Lurker Park, East Hanover. Call East Hanover Health Department at 973-428-3035 to register for the information session and learn more about the 24 week exercise and education program.


Roseland Environmental Commission
The Borough of Roseland is looking for volunteers to serve on the Environmental Commission. Meetings are held the 4th Monday of each month at 7:30. The Commission attracts volunteers with a passion for environmental issues to serve as advisers to the Borough of Roseland Governing Body and the Planning Board on planning and zoning matters. The Farmer’s Market will be held every Friday, Rain or Shine from June 17th through October 28th, noon to 6:00 PM and will feature a wide variety of “Jersey Fresh” fruits and vegetables and artisanal specialties.
