The Police Department will soon begin conducting targeted traffic enforcement on White Avenue, at the intersections of Second and Third Streets.  The enforcement is in response to complaints that these two intersections are blocked during heavy traffic times which prevents traffic from Second and Third Streets entering or crossing White Avenue. 

California Vehicle Code prohibits a vehicle from entering an intersection or marked crosswalk unless there is sufficient space on the other side of the intersection or marked crosswalk to accommodate the vehicle driven without obstructing the through passage of vehicles from either side.
