Auto Theft Task Force Recover Stolen Trucks
Indianapolis, IN- An auto theft task force comprised of the Indiana State Police and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department have recovered six Ford pickup trucks recently stolen from three different counties.
Acting on a tip, on Wednesday August 24th task force officers located a chop shop in an abandoned warehouse in the 1500 block of East Dudley Drive on the Indianapolis south east side. Authorities recovered six Ford F-250’s and F-350’s that are in various condition of disrepair with many parts having been removed. The trucks were reported stolen from Monroe, Marion and Hendricks Counties.
No arrests have been made at this time however this is an ongoing investigation. The recovered trucks are being processed and additional leads are being investigated.
