There has been reported Home Invasions and Larceny from Auto’s occurring in the south end of the Township within the past two weeks, specifically in the area between Sumpter and Ewell Roads north of Hull and south of Huron River Dr.
Home Invasions on some unoccupied homes and garages have been occurring along with Larceny from Auto’s on unlocked vehicles in resident’s driveways. Keep electronic devices, purses, wallets and other belongings out of unlocked and unattended vehicle while parked in your driveways and if possible keep outside lighting on after dark.
We are currently investigating these incidents and stepping up patrols in those areas, so please be vigilant in your neighborhoods and report any suspicious activity in your area. You can help by sharing this information with your neighbors and together be the eyes and ears for the police.
