Chase Bank Attempted Robbery 
On August 25, at approximately 5:20 PM, officers responded to an attempted bank robbery at Chase National Bank (330 E Street in Davis). An unknown suspect approached the teller, threatened her, and demanded money. No actual firearms or weapons were observed. The suspect fled the scene without obtaining any money.
The suspect was described as a male adult, light skinned, 30-40, curly dark hair with a short goatee, 5-8 to 5-10 in height, 180 to 200 lbs, The suspect wore a long sleeve light colored shirt, and a black baseball cap. No vehicle was seen. An image of the suspect was captured on the bank’s surveillance camera (pictured below). Anyone with information is urged to contact the Davis Police Department at (530)747-5400.
