Arrest: 62 year old male, transient
Charges: Drunk in public, littering
Officers responded to a report of a subject panhandling in the median and determined that the subject was intoxicated. He had also inhaled nitrous oxide. The subject was cited, released, and turned over to medics.

Officers responded to a theft from an unlocked vehicle. A satellite phone was taken.

100-blk Plazoleta
Officers responded to a report of a scam. The victim received a message on her computer advising her that her computer would crash if she did not call the provided telephone number. Per the instructions she was given, she allowed the suspect remote access and realized before paying that this was a scam.

16000-blk Los Gatos Blvd
Officers responded to an auto burglary. Unknown suspects smashed the vehicle window, popped the trunk, and removed valuable items from the trunk. Follow-up is being conducted.

A group playing music without a permit was disbanded.

Winchester/Hacienda
Arrest: 33 year old male, transient
Charges: Under the influence of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, destroy evidence, outside warrant
Officers observed a subject riding his bicycle illegally and attempted to make contact. The suspect tried to ride away but was unsuccessful. Upon contact, the suspect discarded a methamphetamine pipe and tried to break it. The suspect was also found to have an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.
