Sullivan County Man Arrested on Child Molestation Allegations
Sullivan County—This afternoon around 2:00 in Bloomington, IN., Indiana State Police Detectives took into custody, a Sullivan County man wanted following an ISP child molesting investigation.
Arrested: Aaron Lee Lake, age 45, of Sullivan, IN.
Charge: One count of Child Molestation (felony)
During the investigation, investigators found that Aaron Lee Lake is alleged to have had numerous sexual encounters with a 13-year-old female acquaintance at his home during the months of June and July 2016. ISP Putnamville began the investigation after being contacted by the Indiana Department of Child Services in Sullivan County.
Lake was incarcerated in the Sullivan County Jail with a cash bond of $50,000.

The case was investigated by ISP Detective Angie Hahn of the Putnamville Post. Assisting were ISP Crime Scene Investigators from the Bloomington Post, Sullivan County Prosecutor’s Office, Indiana Department of Child Services Sullivan County and Susie’s Place Child Advocacy Center.
Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
