<p>On Friday 08/26/16 at 11:19 PM, WTPD officers were dispatched to a single vehicle motor vehicle accident on Brass Castle Rd in Washington Township. As a result of the accident, the driver, Katelynn White, age 23, of Washington, NJ and her 23 year old passenger, suffered minor injuries and were transported to St. Luke’s (Warren Campus) for treatment. A preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle was traveling north bound on Brass Castle Rd. when it left the roadway striking a utility pole on the south bound shoulder. The driver was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and a search warrant was obtained to determine her BAC. The Washington Township police were assisted at the scene by the Washington Township Fire Department, Washington and Oxford Emergency Squads, and the Warren County SCART.</p>
<p>08/28/16 WTPD arrested Wayne Redfield, age 36, of Washington, NJ for obstruction of the administration of law, disorderly conduct and for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 08/28/16 at approximately 3:30 AM, patrol encountered a Mr. Redfield on Madison Ave and E. Church St. in Washington Borough while checking the area for a person who attempted to steal an item from a residence on State Street. Mr. Redfield became belligerent with the officer and refused to provide identification. He was arrested without further incident, processed and released with a mandatory court date. </p>
<p>08/29/16 WTPD arrested Paola Sahulka, age 46, of High Bridge, NJ, Susan Martinez, age 52, of Hillsborough, NJ, Angelica Quininez, age 44, of Santa Fe, NM, Jossary Salgado, age 32, of Boundbrook, NJ, Jose Villafane-Cubias, age 32, of South Boundbrook, NJ, Gregory Ruggiero, age 52 and Karla Quinonez, age 44 both of Garwood, NJ for a local ordinance of entering/swimming in a closed area of the park. On 08/29/16 at approximately 4:32 PM, patrol responded to a report of several people swimming in a closed area of the Oxford Furnace Lake in Oxford Township. At that time, the officer located the above individuals who had climbed over a fence to enter the beach. All parties were issued a local ordinance for entering a closed area of the park and released with a mandatory court dates.</p>
<p>08/30/16 WTPD arrested Austin Tobin, 25, of Washington NJ for with possession of (CDS) marijuana less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving, improper turn and driving while intoxicated (DWI). On Tuesday 08/30/16 at 9:22 PM WTPD officers responded to a report of a single vehicle accident without injuries on Kayharts Ln. in Washington Township. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Tobin, was arrested for (DWI) with a BAC of .17%. Mr. Tobin was additionally charged with possession of (CDS) marijuana less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving, improper turn and (DWI). He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.</p>
<p>08/31/16 WTPD arrested Jennifer Kinsella, age 34, of Washington, NJ and (4) juvenile males all of Washington, NJ , for possession of (CDS) marijuana less than 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an alcoholic beverage, and for a local ordinance of entering/remaining in the park after hours. On 08/31/16 at approximately 11:40 PM, patrol was conducting a routine patrol of Meadow Breeze Park in Washington Township. At that time, the officer located a vehicle occupied by (1) adult and (4) juvenile parties inside of the park. The officer’s investigation revealed that the parties were in possession of an alcoholic beverage and CDS. The juveniles were processed and released to a parent/guardian pending further court action within the juvenile justice system. Ms. Kinsella was processed and released with a mandatory court date.</p>
<p>08/31/16 WTPD arrested Norma Garcia, age 55, of Washington, NJ for outstanding warrants totaling $593.00 out Ventnor City, Mullica, Hamilton and Hammonton Townships. On 08/31/16 at approximately 1:30 AM, Ms. Garcia responded to WTPD headquarters to pick up an individual and was found to have active warrants for her arrest. She was taken into custody without incident processed and released with a new court dates.</p>
<p>09/01/16 WTPD arrested Allen Jackson Jr., age 26, of Bath, PA for an outstanding $500.00 warrant out of Pohatcong. On 09/01/16 at approximately 11:53 PM, patrol responded to a residence in the 20 block of Broad St. in Washington Borough for a medical emergency. During the call, contact was made with Mr. Jackson and it was discovered that he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Mr. Jackson was taken into custody without incident, processed and released with a new court date.</p>
<p>09/01/16 WTPD arrested Michael Kelly, age 42, of Washington, NJ for outstanding warrants totaling $1750.00 out of Washington Township (Morris County), Hackettstown and Newton. On 09/01/16 at approximately 8:31 AM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 57 in Washington Township. At that time, the passenger, Mr. Kelly, who was known to have outstanding warrants was arrested. He was processed and released to Washington Township (Morris County) PD.</p>
