<p>The Borough of Saddle River is monitoring and preparing for any possible effects from Tropical Storm Hermine which is likely to affect our area.&nbsp;</p>

<p>We&nbsp;would like to remind residents to prepare now for the upcoming storm which is forecasted to affect our area over the upcoming holiday weekend. While how the area will be impacted by this storm is still unknown it is best to prepare for possible power outages and flooding.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Take the time before the storm to ensure you have batteries for flashlights and all of your electronic devices are fully charged. This would include cell phones, ipads, and laptops. If you have an emergency plan for your family practice it now. If you still don&#39;t have an emergency plan for you and your family visit&nbsp;ready.nj.gov and make a plan.&nbsp;</p>
