<p>On Monday, September 5, 2016 at approximately 6:10 p.m. the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department responded to the area of South Road (Route 9) and Beechwood Avenue for the report of two teens approached by the passenger of a white van. &nbsp;It was reported that the passenger of the van, a man with a tan complexion, possibly Hispanic, approached the teens with unknown intentions. &nbsp;The teens did not engage the subject in any further conversation and were able to leave the area without further incident. &nbsp;The van proceeded to travel in an unknown direction. The teens were unable to provide a more detailed description of the occupants of the van or a better description of the van. An investigation by members of the Town of Poughkeepsie Patrol and Detective Division is ongoing. &nbsp;Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Town of Poughkeepsie Police at 845-485-3666.</p>
