Rural Sikeston man in jail on drug related charges
BENTON, MISSOURI –
Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter said a rural Sikeston man is in jail on drug related charges.
Joseph T. Johnson (43) Sikeston is charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
Walter said a drug investigation led to a search warrant being served at a rural residence east of Sikeston Monday night. During the search, deputies and investigators with the Sheriff’s Office located a controlled substance and items commonly used to ingest the controlled substance.
Johnson was transported to the Scott County Jail where he remains in custody on a $10,000 bond.
