New Castle Couple Arrested for Meth
Greensboro – A Greensboro couple was arrested early this morning, and three children were removed from their home, after an ongoing investigation led to a search warrant being served at their home. Members of the Pendleton District Meth Suppression Team served a search warrant on the home at 130 N. High St. in Greensboro around 1:40 a.m. this morning.
As a result of that warrant Rhonda Anderson, age 33, and William Ridge, age 39, were arrested for Manufacturing Meth, Level 5 Felony, and Possession of Meth, Possession of the Precursors used in the Manufacture of Meth, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, all three Level 6 Felony charges.
In addition the couple was found to be wanted on Henry County arrest warrants for Misdemeanor Battery. Division of Child Services removed three children under the age of 12 from the home. The couple was lodged in the Henry County Jail.
The Pendleton District Meth Suppression Team was assisted in their investigation by the Henry County Drug Task Force and the Henry County Prosecutor’s Office.
