One Injured in Interstate 70 Crash
Putnam County—At 5:00 this evening, Indiana State Police and Putnam County emergency agencies responded to a two-vehicle crash in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 near the 36 mile marker.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 2012 Chevrolet sedan, driven by 23-year-old Anthony D. Tabb, of Indianapolis, IN., was eastbound on I-70 and drove into the rear of a 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Brandon J. McCracken of Terre Haute, IN. The Tabb vehicle then continued on for approximately one and one half miles before crash damage caused the vehicle to stop.
Anthony Tabb was not injured, but was cited for leaving the scene of a crash, no insurance, driving while suspended, and reckless driving. Tabb may have disregarded a medical condition warning prohibiting him from driving which was a contributing factor in the crash.
Brandon J. McCracken, age 24, was transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital for treatment of internal injuries that are believed to be serious. Helmet was in use.
The crash was investigated by ISP Trooper James Crisp. Assisting were ISP Trooper David Cox Jr., Cloverdale Police, Cloverdale Fire/Rescue, and Putnam County Operation Life Paramedics.

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
