<p>**Traffic Advisory**</p>
<p>The northbound lane of Barnegat Avenue between S.3rd Street - N.8th Street will be closed today (09/10/16) for approximately 30 minutes for the Surf City Volunteer Fire Company's housing parade for their new fire truck. The parade will start at the EJ School and head north, ending at the firehouse. If in the area, consider coming out to celebrate with the fire company and see the parade of fire trucks!</p>
<p>As per fire company officials, the housing ceremony will start at approximately 1:30pm at the firehouse (N 8th St & Long Beach Blvd) with live music, food, and drinks to follow at 2pm. Trophies for the apparatus competition will be awarded at 4pm. **Please note: entry into the event is free, however there is a fee for those wanting to eat and drink.</p>
