<p>The suspect accused in the carjacking and shooting of an 81-year-old man appeared in court for arraignment on a number of charges Tuesday afternoon.</p>
<p>Corey Kelvin Hill, 25, and another man grabbed 81-year-old Herman Garth while he was leaving a convenience store on Joy Road around 1:30 a.m. on August 30.</p>
<p>Hill is then accused of pulling out a gun and demanding money and car keys. After the victim complied, it is alleged Hill shot him and drove away in the victim's car. </p>
<p>The other man reportedly fled on foot.</p>
<p>The victim was treated at a nearby hospital and released. </p>
<p>Hill will be back in court on September 20 at 8:30 a.m.</p>
