<p>The Marshall County Health Department has received 24 well water test kits from the Indiana State Department of Health.&nbsp; The Test Kits are available for pick up at the Marshall County Health Department between 8:00am and 4:00pm.&nbsp;</p>

<p>There is no charge for the Test Kits or the test.&nbsp; However, in order for the test to be completed, the water sample must be received by the state laboratory within 30 hours of the sample being taken.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Water samples can be taken according to the instructions included in the kit.</p>

<p>We recommend that samples be taken as late as possible on Thursday and need to be returned to the Marshall County Health Dept. by 2:00pm on Thursday, 9/15/2016 in order for the sample to be sent to the State Laboratory for testing prior to the 30 hour deadline.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The State Laboratory is not open on the weekends.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Results from the test will not be avialable until next week. Residents who are concerned about water testing may want to consider contacting a private laboratory.</p>
