A carjacking occurred last night at approximately 1:30 AM at Albion College. 
On September 15, 2016 at approximately 1:30 AM ADPS received a report from two Albion College students that they had just been robbed at gunpoint. The students reported that they were sitting inside a vehicle in the parking lot at the corner of Hannah St. and Perry St. when they were approached by two male individuals dressed in black, wearing puffy ski coats with their faces partially covered with masks. One of the suspects had a rifle in his possession. The suspects took the car the students were sitting in as well other personal possessions, and then left the area. They were last seen driving eastbound on Michigan Ave. in the student's vehicle, a red 2010 Jeep Patriot. The students were not injured during this incident.
