Smoke may blow into the Truckee area from the south. The Owens River Fire is 6000 acres and 20% contined. The fire is east of 395 and north of Mammoth Lakes. The fire is under investigation but they belive it is human caused
Fire Danger is very high in our area with near critical fire weatehr over the next few days. Use extreme caution! Make sure campfires are dead-out and cold to the touch. Go to Readyforwildfire.org for more tips.
