Good Afternoon Residents,

I understand that our community has been concerned with the incidents that took place recently within the Metropolitan Area.  First, I want to thank you for your patience and cooperation through this process.  As you may know, investigations were conducted locally that were exclusively known by federal agencies and at this time have been concluded.

We are always working to ensure the safety of our residents.  I want to thank the Perth Amboy Police Department for taking all precautionary measures to protect our community.  I also want to thank all law enforcement agencies involved and the brave officers of Linden, NJ who were injured by the suspect yesterday.

As always, I will continue providing as much information to the public as permitted by our superior law enforcement agencies.  Lastly, I want to encourage all to remain vigilant and alert - if you SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING.  For emergencies dial 9-1-1 and for non-emergencies dial 732-442-4400.
