<p abp="1161">The Farmington Public Safety Department has responded to two reports of forced entry larcenies from automobiles in the last week.&nbsp; In both incidents, the victims had their car door windows smashed out and had purses stolen from their vehicles.&nbsp; The first incident happened at Shiawassee Park on September 14th at approximated 8:00 PM.&nbsp; The second incident occurred in a parking lot of a business along Farmington Road on September 21st sometime between 4:30 PM and 10:00 PM.</p>

<p abp="1162">The Farmington Public Safety Department reminds residents to remove all valuable items (purses, wallets, electronics, cash, etc.) from your vehicles when parking.&nbsp; Consider parking in well-lighted areas and call the public safety department immediately to report any suspicious persons, vehicles or situations.</p>
