<p>September 22, 2016</p>
<p>The Thurmont Police Department had received a complaint of Burger King employees dealing Controlled Dangerous Substances from the parking lot of the business. The Thurmont Police Department had a police officer gain employment at the Burger King in a covert capacity. While employed, the police officer made several successful purchases of Controlled Dangerous Substances from two employees. On September 16, 2016, the two employees were indicted by a Frederick County Grand Jury. On September 21, 2016 the employees were arrested and served with the Indictments. The employees are identified as: Tommy Lee Miller, age 23, of Thurmont, and charged with: Possession of CDS, (2) cts of Possession of CDS with intent to Distribute, (2) cts of Distribution of CDS. Jonathan Brook Moser, age 28, of Emmitsburg, was charged with: (2) cts Possession of CDS, (2) cts of Possession of CDS with intent to Distribute, (2) cts of Distribution of CDS.</p>
