GCSO Deputies investigating assault, locating an injured 23-year old male with a stab wound
On Wednesday (09/21/16) evening, Greene County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a home located in the 2300 block of South April Avenue and located a 23-year old male with a visible stab wound. He was transported to a local hospital with a life threatening injury for further medical attention.
Greene County Sheriff's Detectives are still actively investigating this incident and attempting to identify the suspect involved in the assault at this location. There is no public safety threat as this appears to be an isolated incident with all the parties involved known to one another.
The injured male is still hospitalized in stable condition.
*A charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.*
