CVPD Community Forum on September 27th

In an effort to address timely issues facing the City, the Chula Vista Police Department (CVPD) will conduct a community forum on Tuesday, September 27. The event, open to the public, will be held at the City Council Chambers, 276 Fourth Avenue, from 6 to 8 p.m. Parking is available in the Employee lot adjacent to Fire Station 1 and in the north public lot off Davidson and Fig Streets.

City staff and members of the CVPD will address three topics: police video technologies, homeless outreach, and medical marijuana dispensaries. Following the three presentations, a question and answer session will be held. In addition, attendees will be provided a detailed Q&A sheet which addresses many questions pertaining to these three subjects.

Engaging its residents in this community forum is another example of how the Chula Vista Police Department strives to be a transparent organization that focuses on community policing.

For more information on the Community Forum, please contact CVPD Community Relations Lt. Kenny Heinz at [email protected] or call (619) 476-2406.
