<p><strong>Modesto, CA </strong>&ndash; Have ever wanted to ride in the front seat of a patrol car or fire truck?&nbsp; Are you interested in what type of crime or activity may be happening in your neighborhood?&nbsp; Are you looking to pursue a career in public safety?&nbsp; This Friday get a glimpse into the realities of life in public safety while you take a &ldquo;virtual ride-along&rdquo; with the Modesto Police Department, Modesto Fire Department, Stanislaus County Sheriff&rsquo;s Office, Stanislaus Consolidated Fire, Ceres Police Department and Turlock Fire Department.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Starting at 7 p.m. on Friday night, each department will use their own Facebook and Twitter accounts to give you an inside look at what happens during their shifts.&nbsp; As you virtually ride alongside our staff to calls for service, you will get an inside view of incidents by video, photos and live feed.&nbsp; All social media posts and Tweets will include our countywide hashtag &ldquo;STANCO911&rdquo;.&nbsp; We encourage you to ask questions during the night by using the hashtag or by mentioning the agency your question is directed to.</p>
