<p><strong>Car Thief Collared by Anderson Police</strong></p>

<p>On Tuesday, September 27, 2016, 27 year old, Damien D. Jones of Red Bluff drove a stolen Honda, Accord into the Wal*Mart parking-lot in Anderson, California. Jones parked the stolen vehicle a few feet from an Anderson Police Officer who was parked at the location.</p>

<p>Jones walked into the Wal*Mart store with his passenger, 29 year old, Sierra M. Thompson of Red Bluff, California. After recognizing the vehicle as being stolen, Anderson Police contacted Jones and Thompson inside the store and took them into custody.</p>

<p>Jones, who has a number of prior arrests for theft related crimes including vehicle theft was arrested and booked into the Shasta County Jail for possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Thompson who was found to be on probation out of Tehama County, was also arrested and booked at the Shasta County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a violation of her probation.</p>
