<p>On 09/28/2016 just after 2:00 pm, wanted non-compliant registered sex offender 36 year old Andrew Mitchell Ribbey of Orland was located and taken into custody by the US Marshals Service Northern District of Indiana without incident.&nbsp; Ribbey was located in the 400 block of N Wayne St in Angola by Senior Inspector William Boothe who is the Sex Offender Investigations Coordinator for the Northern District of Indiana.&nbsp; An arrest warrant was issued by the Steuben County Superior Court earlier in the day charging Ribbey with one count of failure to register as a sex or violent offender, a level 6 felony.&nbsp; The warrant follows a Steuben County Sheriff&rsquo;s Office investigation into allegations that Ribbey failed to register as a sex or violent offender in person as required by Indiana law.&nbsp; Once the arrest warrant was issued, Sheriff&rsquo;s detectives reached out to the US Marshals Service Northern District of Indiana Sex Offender Investigation Coordinator for assistance and within hours, Ribbey was located and taken into custody.&nbsp; Ribbey was booked into the Steuben County Jail and remains held in lieu of a $10,000.00 bond.</p>
