Man Wanted on Seven Criminal Allegations Located in Farmersburg
Sullivan County—At 12:45 this afternoon, Indiana State Police Master Trooper Tom Hanks received information from off-duty Farmersburg Town Marshal George McAdams that an individual McAdams was looking for on a Vigo County Division 3 Court warrant could be found at a local business in Farmersburg. McAdams received a community tip on the man’s location and immediately provided the information to Hanks. The suspect was wanted on seven criminal allegations in Vigo County. M/Trooper Hanks located the man at the business and placed him into custody without incident and transported him to the Vigo County Jail.
Arrested: James A. Hill, age 54, of Farmersburg, IN.
Charges: (1) Count of Stalking (Level 5 felony)
(6) Counts of Invasion of Privacy (Class A Misdemeanor)
Bond set at $35,000
This was a warrant arrest and ISP has no details of the case leading to the issuance of the warrant.
