<p>In less than a week, Anderson Police have arrested another duo who parked a stolen vehicle near an on duty police officer. On Sunday, October 2nd 2016, 37 year old, Anthony Paul Foster of Cottonwood drove a stolen Honda, Civic into the Wal*Mart parking-lot in Anderson, California. Foster parked the stolen vehicle in front of an Anderson Police Officer who was parked at the location in a marked police vehicle. Anderson Police had a similar situation on September 27th 2016, when police arrested a Red Bluff couple who also parked a different stolen Honda near an on duty police officer at the same location.</p>

<p>Anthony Foster walked into the Anderson Wal*Mart store with his passenger, 35 year old, Kelly Marie Foster of Cottonwood, California. After recognizing the vehicle as being stolen, Anderson Police contacted Mr. and Mrs. Foster inside the store and took them into custody.</p>

<p>Mr. and Mrs. Foster both have a number of prior arrests, primarily for drug related crimes. Kelly Foster was also listed on the Shasta County Most Wanted list at the time of this arrest.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Anthony Foster was booked into the Shasta County Jail for possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He was also found to possess methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the time of his arrest. Kelly Foster was booked into the Shasta County Jail on active warrants issued for her arrest including a felony warrant for drug related crimes. Kelly Foster was also found to possess drug paraphernalia at the time of her arrest and told Anderson Police that she purchased the vehicle the day prior.</p>

<p>The vehicle had been stolen from the Redding area and the victim told police he did not know Anthony or Kelly Foster. Additional charges will be filed against Anthony Foster and Kelly Foster including possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.</p>
