Seabrook has experienced an increase in car break-ins during the last few weeks. As many as 50 incidents have been reported to the police. All of the vehicles were left unlocked. It's inevitable that the thief's attention will move to neighboring communities as they feel the pressure in Seabrook. Please remember to lock your vehicles! Immediately report any suspicious activity by calling 772-2929 or 911.
Kensington PD is participating in the Beards for Bucks fund raising event this month to support the Rockingham County Child Advocacy Center. The CAC works with law enforcement and community partners to provide support for children that have been the victims of physical and sexual abuse. Unfortunately, even in our small community we utilize their services annually. A very small percentage of their funding comes from state and federal monies and the rest comes from donations and fund raising.
For the month of October most of us will be looking a little scruffy but for a good cause! If you wish to make a donation to the CAC this link will point you in the right direction. Don't forget to select Kensington PD when filling out the form! Any amount helps!
